Lake Bistineau Spring Paddle

It is time to #PaddleWebster and we’d love for you to join us!
Bring your kayak, canoe, or pirogue for a 5 mile adventure on Lake Bistineau. Whether you’re a frequent paddler or just getting into the sport, we’d love to invite you to relax, explore and make new friends! Rentals will be available through Bayou Dorcheat Rentals on a first come, first serve basis; please contact them directly to make your reservation, 318-403-3440.

Meet us at the boat launch at Lake Bistineau State Park, located at 103 State Park Road Doyline, LA. Check in begins at 8:00 AM, safety instructions at 8:30 AM and we launch at 9:00 AM.
Stick around after the paddle for a fish fry and live entertainment. This is a free event, so bring your family and friends out for a beautiful morning on the water!
*This could be your next day trip or staycation! We are located just 28 miles east of Shreveport and 72 miles west of Monroe.
Coming from Monroe:
-Follow I-20 W to Goodwill Rd
-Take exit 38 from I-20 W
-Take LA-164 E and LA-163 S to State Park Rd
-Follow I-20 W to Goodwill Rd
-Take exit 38 from I-20 W
-Take LA-164 E and LA-163 S to State Park Rd
Coming from East Texas & SBC:
-Take exit 33 toward LA-157
-Keep right at the fork, follow signs for LA-157 S/Haughton and merge onto LA-157
-Turn left onto LA-3227 E
-Turn right onto LA-164 E
-Turn right onto LA-163 S
-Turn left onto State Park Rd
-Take exit 33 toward LA-157
