Mark your calendar for April 17–18 and head to Lake Bistineau for the 24th Annual Burn Run, hosted by the Brother’s Keepers MC – 1st Shreveport Chapter. This long-running event brings together riders, families, and supporters from across the Ark-La-Tex for a weekend of fellowship, fun, and a powerful purpose.
Since the very beginning, the Burn Run has raised funds for Camp I’m Still Me, the Ark-La-Tex children’s burn camp dedicated to helping young burn survivors heal, build confidence, and simply “be a kid again.” Every mile ridden and every dollar raised helps create life-changing experiences for these incredible children.
The weekend at Lake Bistineau features live music, great food, and a trivia run, along with plenty of camaraderie and community spirit. A highlight of the event is the “world-famous” live auction, kicking off at 12:30 PM on Saturday, where attendees can bid on unique items and experiences—all for a great cause.
Whether you ride or simply want to support an inspiring mission, the Burn Run is a meaningful way to enjoy the beauty of Lake Bistineau while giving back. Come out, be part of the tradition, and help make a difference—one ride at a time.
