2nd Annual Brandon Plunkett Memorial Scholarship Bass Tournament – Lake Bistineau

Cast a line for a great cause at the 2nd Annual Brandon Plunkett Memorial Scholarship Bass Tournament on April 25, 2026, at beautiful Lake Bistineau.

Anglers may launch from any destination on the lake, with the official weigh-in held at the Parish Camp Boat Launch. First cast begins at safe light, so get ready for an exciting day of competitive bass fishing on one of Webster Parish’s premier waterways.

Entry is $100 per team, with a $5 optional Big Bass pot. In addition to the main tournament, kids ages 4–12 can join in the fun at the Kids Pier Tournament, making this a true family-friendly event.

The day will also feature food trucks, vendors, raffle prizes, a DJ, and live music, creating a festive atmosphere on the water and at the weigh-in site. Whether you’re competing, cheering on your favorite anglers, or simply enjoying the lakefront activities, there’s something for everyone.

Proceeds support the Brandon Plunkett Memorial Scholarship, helping make a lasting impact in our community.
