Grants & Cooperative Endeavor Agreements

  1. Consider approval of a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement (CEA) with the Scottish Society of the Louisiana Highlands for the Scottish Tartan Festival to be held May 2, 2026, in the amount of $4,000 (FY2026)
  2. Consider approval of a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement (CEA) with Brothers Keeper Motorcycle Club, Inc. for Burn Man to be held April 17–18, 2026, in the amount of $4,000 (FY2026)
  3. Consider approval of a $2,000 advertising grant for Krewe des Ambassadeurs for the 25th Anniversary Coronation and Reunion to be held August 28–29, 2026
  4. Consider approval of a $2,000 advertising grant for Families Helping Families Region 7 for the Arms Around Autism Acceptance Walk to be held April 18, 2026

Contracts, Facilities & Operations

  1. Consider approval to authorize the Executive Director to enter into and execute a commercial office lease agreement with the City of Minden, located at 1004 Recreation Drive, Minden, LA 71055, in the amount of $1,200/month, for the term March 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, pending attorney review and approval, and subject to required insurance provisions
  2. Consider approval to obtain and/or maintain required insurance coverage associated with the above lease agreement, subject to available quotes and compliance requirements
  3. Consider approval of a quote from McInnis Insurance Agency, Inc. for event insurance coverage for the 2026 Spring Paddle to be held April 18, 2026, in the amount of $2,044.58
  4. Consider approval of a quote from Wimberly Agency for Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance in the amount of $661 annually, plus applicable fees
  5. Consider approval of a quote from Flores Custom Design for kayak wrap design and installation in the amount of $1,312.20, subject to minor adjustments based on final design
  6. Consider approval of a monthly cleaning services agreement with Vines Enterprise for the facility located at 1004 Recreation Drive in the amount of $165/month
  7. Consider approval of a quote from Baumgardner Electric for lighting installation at Miller Quarters Park in the amount of $3,000
  8. Consider selection of a vendor for pressure washing and restoration services at Miller Quarters Park, based on submitted quotes from Hay Contracting, LLC ($1,925), Vines Enterprise ($800), and Bolin Construction ($6,300)

Procurement & Services

  1. Review of proposals received in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for professional photography services
  2. Consider approval to transition website platform services from Visit Widget to Townsquare Media in the amount of $400/month
