Advertising Grants

  1. Consider approval of a $2,000 advertising grant for the Springhill Rodeo Association for the 2026 Springhill PRCA Rodeo to be held September 18–20, 2026.
  2. Consider approval of a $2,000 advertising grant for Springhill Main Street for A Taste of the Market to be held June 6, 2026.
  3. Consider approval of a $2,000 advertising grant for Springhill Main Street for the Freedom Market – 250th Celebration to be held July 4, 2026.
  4. Consider approval of a $2,000 advertising grant for Miss Louisiana Volunteer for the Miss Louisiana Volunteer Leadership Event to be held June 27–28, 2026.

Cooperative Endeavor Agreements

  1. Consider approval to authorize the Executive Director to execute a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement (CEA) with Friends of Minden Main Street for Grilling on Main, previously approved as a FY2026 Major Grant recipient in the amount of $4,000, for the event to be held June 12–13, 2026.

Office Relocation & Lease Authorization

  1. Consider approval of office relocation and authorization for the Executive Director to negotiate and execute a commercial lease agreement and associated relocation expenditures for one of the following proposed office locations, subject to attorney review and approval:
  • 805 Broadway Street, Minden, LA 71055 — $1,550/month; utilities not included
  • 727 Broadway Street, Minden, LA 71055 — $1,600/month; utilities included
  • 422 Broadway Street, Minden, LA 71055 — $2,000/month; utilities included

Authorization shall include associated moving expenses, utility setup, internet services, signage, furnishings, and other operational costs necessary for relocation.

Contracts & Personnel

  1. Consider approval of renewal of the contract for Chloe Burns for administrative support services through December 31, 2026.
  2. Consider approval of renewal of the contract with Brianna Savoy d/b/a 727 Socials for social media management services through December 31, 2026.
  3. Consider approval of renewal of the Executive Director Employment Agreement for Amie Poladian for an additional one-year term extending through July 7, 2027.
