House sits on approximately two wooded acres and backs up to additional wooded acreage. Enjoy the peaceful back porch as well as the picnic table for outdoor eating. There is a charcoal grill (charcoal not included) available for your use. Please note that DSL internet is available but because this home is rural, it’s not super sonic speed. Cell phones have adequate signals. Dish Network is available with basic channels only. Whether you are in the area for recreation, business, a family gathering, or just need a peaceful retreat, Papaw Wheeler’s is sure to provide comforting, safe and secure accommodations.

There is 1 queen bed, 1 full size bed, 2 twin bunk beds, and 2 full size bunk beds.

A 2 car attached carport is available for parking, plus there is additional space in the driveway if needed.
Guests DO have to climb a few steps to enter the home.

There is a calming pasture of cows across the street so you might hear the occasional moo. 🙂 Also, at night, don’t be surprised if you hear owls hooting, wolves howling, deer blowing, etc. You are at a wooded retreat after all. 🙂

If you are staying during a Muddy Bottoms event weekend, please know that there will be ATV noise as the park is located less than a quarter of a mile from this home.
