Let the good times roll at one of north Louisiana’s most unique Mardi Gras celebrations! The Doyline United Methodist Church Annual Mardi Gras Parade brings family-friendly Carnival fun to the beautiful setting of Lake Bistineau State Park—where nature, community, and tradition come together.

“If it rolls, it’s a float!” From decorated boats and trailers to wagons, golf carts, and creative contraptions of all kinds, all are welcome to join the parade. The parade rolls at 1:00 PM, filling the park with music, laughter, and Mardi Gras spirit.

Participants can begin float loading at 11:00 AM, giving everyone plenty of time to get decked out in purple, green, and gold before the fun begins.

After the parade, don’t miss the Cajun Feast at the Rally Shelter. Bring your favorite Cajun dish to share and enjoy a laid-back afternoon of good food, great company, and Louisiana hospitality.
