North American Fishing Challenge

Get ready to cast your line and fish for a cause during the North American Fishing Challenge, a unique international fishing tournament that brings anglers together from across the United States and Canada. This exciting event combines the thrill of fishing with the opportunity to support a meaningful mission—raising funds and awareness for Adult & Teen Challenge addiction recovery programs.

Unlike traditional tournaments, the North American Fishing Challenge allows participants to fish anywhere they choose—whether it’s a local lake, river, bayou, or shoreline. Anglers compete in teams and record their catches using the FishDonkey mobile app, submitting their best fish during the official tournament hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in their local time zone.

Teams select the species they want to target and compete in divisions such as bass, catfish, walleye, pike/muskie, trout/salmon, and panfish. Prizes are awarded to top teams in each category, along with opportunities to win additional prizes through fundraising efforts.

More than just a fishing tournament, the North American Fishing Challenge is about making a difference. Every cast helps support life-changing recovery programs across North America, giving participants the chance to enjoy a day on the water while helping bring hope and healing to those battling addiction.
